Prince Akeem Joffer is set to become King of Zamunda when he discovers he has a son he never knew about in America — a street savvy Queens native named Lavelle. Honoring his royal father's dying wish to groom this son as the crown prince, Akeem and Semmi set off to America once again.
A sequel that didn't need to be made, and has one of the worst ret-cons of all time to give Akeem a son he didn't know about. But having the entire cast back and likable new additions to the cast (Jermaine Fowler leading the way) makes this an acceptable and somewhat entertaining sequel.
