April 6th, 1917. As a regiment assembles to wage war deep in enemy territory, two soldiers are assigned to race against time and deliver a message that will stop 1,600 men from walking straight into a deadly trap.
Suprisingly emotional war film that is flat out thrilling. The one shot effect doesn't seem like a gimmick but actually adds to the feel of the film. Not an overly creative or new script, but everything else about this film makes up for it.
